I painted this with the sea right in front of me, foam swirling at my feet, wind moving through my hair, the rhythm of the waves calling the next stroke. There’s something about this part of the coast that softens everything. This piece is all breath and movement. A little wild, a little still. I didn’t overwork it, I just let the waves lead.
