This one came together on a breezy afternoon in Half Moon Bay, right on the edge of a wildflower field. The mustard was in full bloom, so much yellow it almost felt unreal. I painted it on the spot, letting the texture stay loose and full of movement. It’s simple, joyful, and reminds me why I love painting outside.
